FAQ

What date is Art and Found Day?

March 12th, 2024

How do I participate

If you are an artist, register here.

If you are looking to find art, visit our artist map to find a participating artist near you.

How does it work?

How many artworks should I drop?

You can drop as many artworks around your community as you would like.

Where should I leave my artworks?

We recommend leaving your artworks in high traffic areas such as busy streets, transit hubs, parks and condo or retail lobbies. Also consider leaving your work off the ground to ensure it doesn’t get damaged and is easily seen, such as on benches, ledges, or hung from poles, signs, trees, etc. Watch our 2021 video for more ideas.

How can I promote Art and Found Day?

Can I do #ArtandFound outside of March 12th?

Absolutely! #ArtandFound doesn’t need to be confined to just one day, but if you choose to do this on an additional day, be sure to tag us so we can share it!

How do I find artists near me?

Check out our interactive map to find participating artists. And don’t forget to follow artists on Instagram as well as @ArtandFoundDay for clues on where drops will take place.

How do I get my profile featured?

All participating artists will be profiled on our website. Please send your headshot/profile photo to connect@artandfoundday.com

We will also randomly select two artists per week for an exclusive interview featured on our blog.

Just to let you know, due to the number of participants, we will not post everyone individually on our social profiles this year, but we will do shoutouts by region!
